Now Available!
I am so pleased to announce my book is out in print, e-book, and audio-book formats!
Shamanism for the Rest of Us is a practical, compassionate guide for those who long for spiritual connection but don’t feel at home in traditional or “New Age” spaces.
Sara Violante – experienced Shamanic Practitioner, teacher, and speaker – offers a refreshingly grounded approach to working with the unseen world. She gently challenges the idea that you must look, talk, act, or believe a certain way to engage in meaningful spiritual practice. Instead, she encourages readers to trust their inner wisdom, work with what resonates, and honor the discomfort that often accompanies true growth.
Blending ancient traditions with modern sensibilities, Sara shares accessible practices, powerful insights, and stories from her decades of experience-inviting readers into a spiritual path that’s adaptable, sincere, and rooted in real life. Whether you’re new to shamanic practice or seeking to reconnect with it on your own terms, this book offers a welcoming and empowering path forward.*
Now available as an audio-book, read by the author!
FREE: Shamanism for the Rest of Us – Introduction to Journey Meditation Class ! This is a four-hour, unedited live recording of my introductory class that you can follow along with. The people in the class graciously agreed to let me record the class and share it. To preserve their privacy I have not included their images, but you will hear them share their experiences. It is incredibly helpful for beginners to hear others’ experiences so I am very thankful for their generosity.
Available now! Drum tracks for Journeying.
Shamanism for the Rest of Us: Drum Tracks for Shamanic Journeying
I’ve provided a link for the tracks through iTunes, however it is also available on multiple sites for purchase and for streaming! I’ve found the best way to find my work is to search on my full name (Sara Violante). Here are some quick links to Pandora and Spotify for streaming.
I’ve provided the following time-lengths in both single and double drum formats:
7 minutes – to show you that quickie Journeys are often full of information and assistance. You don’t need to make a big deal out of it!
15 minutes – the typical time frame that you will experience in a class you might take. An academic time frame for getting your brain to switch to theta.
30 minutes – a really common time frame used by newbies and experienced Journeyers and Practitioners.
60 minutes – for either deep work, or for those that struggle with monkey-mind and need extra time to drift and then re-focus. This is an uncommon length to find on Shamanic Drumming recordings. While not for every day use, I worked to include this to underline that long periods of Journeying are not only possible, but can be transformative.
